The Lessons of Living For Customer Service

There are some fundamental lessons of learning and living that apply to all human interactions. These lessons help people navigate the difficult and challenging waters of customer service under all conditions.

This presentation deals with insightful principles of wisdom that can guide us when dealing with difficult customers. It also reminds us of ways to act as an ambassador of our organization in challenging times. The main theme is that circumstances don't determine us, they reveal us.

Customer service is the most expanding area of employment today. It is also an occupation that includes many inherent communication and conflict traps. These negative situations create unnecessary stress in the life of the service rep and a loss of time and energy in repairing the difficulties. They also leave the customer with a less than satisfied attitude and memory.

  • How to deal with an irate customer
  • How to open a closed mind
  • How to leave a great impression
  • How to build bridges
  • How to prevent conflict
  • How to listen aggressively
  • How to recover from the whole thing
  • Rules of good customer service
